
Application Webinar for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Aspirants
The webinar, hosted by WiN Global Young Generation and the Women in Nuclear Innovation Group of Expertise, gathered 138 registrants from 44 countries, with 60 attending live. Moderated and coordinated by Geraldine Nneka and Florencia Renteria. Florencia opened the session by emphasizing the importance of professional development and career planning.
Key presentations included Emma Wong's overview of EPRI’s initiatives, focusing on young professionals' engagement in challenges like the EDGE and quantum innovation competitions. Alexis Amachree detailed the SARENA program, a two-year Erasmus Mundus master's degree in nuclear engineering, while Ayesha Manzoor shared valuable tips for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship application despite technical challenges. Godsfavour Chibueze Amanekwe introduced the Fusion-EP program, designed to prepare future fusion engineers and physicists through collaboration among students from various European universities.
Participants gained actionable guidance, networking opportunities, and inspiration to advance their careers in nuclear innovation.
